In 2004 a commercial website, OrderGenuine.com , shamelessly copied the title of our website "50 Chess Games for Beginners" for a page of their own. This company offered software matching for 50 Chess Games for Beginners. We would like to make absolutely clear that we have no connection whatsoever with OrderGenuine.com and do not endorse any of the software packages they are offering.

In fact, we sent the following e-mail to them on 21st August 2004, asking them to change the title of their webpage:

Dear OrderGenuine.com,

It has come to our attention that you have a webpage on your website with exactly the same title as our chess training website "50 Chess Games for Beginners". Our title (and indeed our entire website) is copyright © 2001. We would therefore ask you to change the title of your webpage as otherwise the situation could be confusing to visitors interested in finding our site.

Yours sincerely,
Douglas & Ian MacGregor,
50 Chess Games for Beginners,
http://www.50chessgames.freeserve.co.uk/

We never received any reply from them, and for a long time they refused to remove or change the title of their webpage, although in June 2006 we could no longer find their webpage. Nevertheless we wish to publicly dissociate ourselves from OrderGenuine.com and place them on a BLACKLIST of sites we would advise our visitors not to deal with.
